How do we book you?

Your next step is to complete our online wedding car booking form.  Please complete as much information as you can this will enable us to give you an accurate price.

When should we book?

Our schedule tends to fill up well in advance, (especially Saturdays) and since we exclusively commit to one wedding per day, we recommend reaching out to us at your earliest convenience if your desired date aligns with our availability. Remember, we’re dedicated to making your special day our sole focus.

How many cars do I need?

Most likely two. One for the mother of the bride, bridesmaids/pageboys and one for the bride and her escort. The main bridal car should be special to the bride (and later the bride and groom.) We generally do not recommend using the main bridal car for additional trips. Any problems en-route will cause stress to the bride who will be waiting for the car to return, as well as delaying proceedings.

Can we view the cars before booking?

We are so proud of our cars that we would thoroughly recommend a viewing of them at our Washington location before you finally decide on which one(s) you want for the special day.

How many Tesla Cars do you have?

We currently have 2 beautiful matching Silver Tesla’s, a Model X and a Model S, but can arrange for additional Tesla Model S cars if required. We usually find 1-2 cars per wedding is the norm, but just ask if you need more!

What are your booking and payment terms?

When booking a car, an invoice for 20% of the total cost will be raised as a deposit, which is payable within 14-days of booking. The balance is then due 4-weeks before the wedding.

Can I spread the cost of the booking?

Planning a wedding involves many expenses to make it perfect. To support our customers better, we have introduced a new simpler payment option.

Our normal booking involves a 20% deposit, we always require this upfront to secure your booking, but instead of getting hit with a lump sum payment 4 weeks before the wedding date, we have a more convenient alternative which we can split the remaining balance over a set monthly payment of up to 12 months*

How long is the wedding car hire

Our minimum wedding car hire is for 1 hours, but don’t worry, we can totally extend it to fit your needs!

Oh, and in case you end up going over the agreed time by a lot, no worries, the vehicle will stay. But remember, our chauffeurs get paid by the hour, so there might be a little extra on the bill for the extended time. No big deal, though! We just want you to have an amazing day!

Can we use the cars for multiple trips?

From our experience, multiple trips are not recommended. The cars should be specifically used for the primary bridal party only and we believe the bride should always have her own personal vehicle.

We can provide as many cars as you need to accommodate your requirements, but we recommend general wedding guests should be making their own travel arrangements.

Believe us, it removes a lot of potential hassle factor, the last thing you need on your big day.

Can we play music in the car?

Our Tesla cars are blessed with the ability to play any music you like using Spotify. There is a section in our Booking Form where you can request your playlist

Do you provide chilled Champagne for the Bride & Groom?

Due to strict licensing laws, we are unable to provide alcoholic beverages, however, there is a solution as we can legally serve Champagne supplied by the Bride and Groom.
This works rather well anyway, since most couples have a preference for a particular good quality brand.  Just give your favourite bottle or half bottle of Champagne or Sparkling Wine to the driver on the day and they will serve it at the appropriate time. There is an option to select this service on the booking form .

Are there any over-time fees?

If the wedding event over runs and you need the car longer than originally booked, not a problem, you can have it as long as you need as we only do one wedding event per wedding car.  Any additional hours going beyond the original booking schedule on the day, may be charged at our standard rate of £50 per half hour + any additional fuel costs required. Payment would have to be paid by card or cash on the day to your driver.

What areas do you cover?

We are based in Washington, Tyne & Wear, and our luxury electric wedding car hire service covers Tyne & Wear, Durham, Sunderland, Northumberland, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. However, we have been further afield, so give us a shout to see if we can help

What car would you recommend for the Bride and Groom?

That’s easy! without a doubt our amazing Tesla Model X. The unique “Falcon Wing” doors are perfect for any bride as they enable a no hassle, classy entrance and exit for the wedding dress.

The Grooms party usually rides in our fantastic Tesla Model S Saloon. With 0-60 of under 4 seconds, they are sure to enjoy the journey to the ceremony!

How long will I need the car (s) for?

Each wedding is unique, but we have provided some suggested timings below. The minimum duration for hiring a car is 1 hour, and all bookings are in hourly blocks.

The following hire times serve as a guide and represent the “minimum” durations to consider for various wedding types:

One Way Journey:
1 Hour: This includes pick up from one Collection Address, drop off at the Ceremony Venue, and photos on arrival. There will be no waiting after this. It’s a direct A to B one-way journey.

One Way Journey and Wait for Photos:
2 Hours: This covers pick up and drop off, along with waiting until immediately after the ceremony for photographs with the car (subject to ceremony length). It remains a one-way journey from A to B. [Possibly Bridesmaids first if all very local]

Registry Office or Church Wedding Service:
3 Hours: This involves pick up and drop off at the Register Office, Civil Venue, or a Church (if the service is short) with a short photo session after. After the ceremony, the car will proceed to the Reception Venue. [Possibly Bridesmaids to Ceremony Venue first if all very local]. It’s a journey from A to B to C.

Full Church Service:
4 Hours: For a full Church Wedding, the Bridesmaids might have a trip before the Bride (if all very local). The car will wait until after the ceremony and following photographs before heading to the Reception Venue. There might be a possible stop en-route for additional photographs, depending on the time spent at the church after the ceremony. The journey will be from A to B to C.

Civil Ceremony followed by Church Blessing:
5 Hours: This option involves extended waiting times, with refreshments after the civil ceremony before traveling to the Reception Venue. It includes a Civil Ceremony followed by a Church Blessing and allows for longer photo opportunities.

Please note that these timings are just guidelines, and the actual duration may vary depending on the specific requirements of your wedding.

Are there any discounts available?

We can usually apply discounts if you decide to take a second or third car as a package.
Other factors that may determine the cost include mileage and distance, and weddings that take place mid-week or off-season.

Once you get your booking confirmation, you can rest assured that the car is all yours! No worries, nobody else can swoop in and snatch it away from you. We’ve got you covered!

Take a look at the itinerary we’ve prepared based on the details you provided in the booking form. We want to make sure everything is just the way you want it. Once you’re happy with the plan, we’ll send you a super convenient online payment link to make the deposit payment as soon as you can.

If you opted for our split payments option, don’t worry about a thing. We’ll set you up with a direct debit mandate, making the process smooth as can be. You’ll receive receipts every time you make a payment, so you can keep track of your payments, the amounts paid, and any balance due, along with the due dates.

Who travels with whom throughout the wedding day?

It’s your big day and you have the freedom to plan it exactly the way you want. Here’s a handy guide we’ve put together, especially for couples who might be new to the wedding scene and could use some suggestions:

Option 1: One Car

In this scenario, the bride rides to the ceremony alongside the person escorting her down the aisle. After the ceremony, the newlyweds share the same car as they head off to the next destination, while parents and the rest of the bridal party or groomsmen arrange their own transportation onwards

Option 2: Two Cars

Here, the bride and her escort travel in one car, while her bridesmaids, and maybe her mother, take the second car. Following the ceremony, the bride and groom go together in the first car, while the bridesmaids and groomsmen ride in the second car.

Option 3: Three Cars

For this arrangement, the bride and her escort ride in the first car. Her bridesmaids, along with her mother if needed, travel in the second car. Meanwhile, the groom’s party or close family members journey in the third car.

Will the wedding car be dressed?

Yes. All our vehicles can be dressed with a traditional silk white ribbon and also have elegant silk flower arrangements included. Just select the option on the booking form.
We will always look to provide any particular requirements such as:

  • Coloured ribbons to match wedding theme.
  • Specific flowers and arrangements

Do you provide child seats?

Sorry, but we do not allow child seats of any kind in any of our vehicles. Child seats may cause damage to the leather.
Children aged 3 or older can travel in a back seat without a child car seat however children under 3 cannot, and alternative travel arrangements must be made.

How will the driver be dressed on the day?

Our gents and lady drivers will usually be dressed in smart formal wear. Plain black suits and shiny shoes are so old school!

Do we need wedding insurance cover?

Absolutely, it’s a prudent decision.
